History of the USBA

Founded by Steve Damon in 2010, the United States Blowgun Association (USBA) promotes blowgun sports across the country. Blowgun sports have a rich history in international competition, with major events like the World Blowgun Championships attracting top athletes from around the globe. As a proud member of the International Fukiya Association (IFA), the USBA is part of a global community dedicated to advancing the sport. While blowguns have traditionally been used for hunting, today, they are celebrated as a precision sport that emphasizes skill and focus.
